Hamilton back in simulator: Verstappen's pressure visible after Turkish GP

Lewis Hamilton makes no secret of his reluctance to use the simulator. For a long time he thought it was unnecessary, but the current title battle with Max Verstappen is putting the Mercedes driver under so much pressure that he is falling back on the tool anyway.

So too after the Turkish Grand Prix: on the Wednesday after the race, Hamilton shared a snapshot on Instagram showing him working in the simulator. The final race ended in disappointment for the Mercedes driver, who drove from eleventh to fifth place. Afterwards he could not hide his dissatisfaction with his team.

The driver has obviously put that disappointment behind him, because he is focusing on the races to come. During the season Hamilton has started to appreciate the simulator more and more and he thinks he can benefit from it for the United States Grand Prix as well.
