Guenther Steiner confirms he is happy with his current driver set-up at Haas, giving a hint that Kevin Magnussen will sign a new contract
Magnussen’s current deal at the American team runs out at the end of this season. Steiner was cautious with his words but gave a solid indicator.
“We do not comment on the status of contracts,” said Steiner.
“That applies whether it’s a driver or a partner.
“Having said that, we are very happy with both of our drivers - we are continuing to focus on this season and scoring as many points as possible.”

This remark doesn’t come as a surprise as both Magnussen and Grosjean have been performing this season.
Magnussen is the driver that has scored all 11 points for Haas this season. This undoubtedly would have been more had two pit-stops in Australia gone smoother.
