The stewards will investigate Sergio Perez after qualifying for the Australian Grand Prix. The Mexican is at high risk after interfering with Nico Hulkenberg, and the Red Bull Racing driver may receive a grid penalty.
In the first part of qualifying, Hulkenberg did not make it through to Q2. Perez clearly hampered the German's fast run. The stewards reported the incident during the session, but it will only be investigated after the session.
Perez did go through to the second part of qualifying and eventually managed to qualify third. Whether Perez will also be allowed to start from third place remains to be seen.
