Gino Rosato, the man who has worked for Ferrari for a long time alongside several champions, has had kind words to say about Jos Verstappen and the way he raised his son. According to him, that is one of the reasons why Max is now a four-time Formula 1 world champion.
As a guest on the Pitstop podcast, Rosato spoke highly of the father of the Red Bull driver: ''Jos is a pure, pure thug. Don't f*ck around with Jos.''
''He's a pure guy, he's an honest guy, it's old school, and what are you going to tell him? You did bad? You created the biggest beast on the face of Formula 1, or one of them for sure.''

There are not only compliments for Jos, but also for the reigning world champion in the premier class of motorsport: ''Max is pure, very similar, extremely similar to Kimi. He's a bit more spicy, a bit more open-minded than he is.''
''Kimi will suffer in silence, whereas this one will lash out once in a while. But, just a gentle, I can text Max right now, and he's gonna answer me back within two minutes.''
In 2022 it was seen how Verstappen had an interview, and Rosato then reacted extremely positively on his Instagram. He talked about how the Dutchman was a fantastic driver, but above all a great man with a beautiful soul.
In the interview, Verstappen expressed his respect for the Ferrari team. The 27-year-old also mentioned that he had a good relationship with Mattia Binotto, who has since departed from the Italian Scuderia.
