Lewis Hamilton has taken victory at the Qatar Grand Prix. Max Verstappen had to start from P7 due to a grid penalty and did not have enough to beat the Brit. The Dutchman finished second. Fernando Alonso crossed the line in third place.
It looked like Valtteri Bottas could fight with Sergio Perez for P3, but a blowout prevented the Finn from finishing the race. Perez just missed out on the podium and the virtual safety car at the end didn't help him.
Esteban Ocon finished fifth for Alpine. Aston Martin is in the top ten with both drivers and Ferrari also picks up points on McLaren again with a P7 and P8. Lando Norris completes the top ten with a ninth place.
