The first practice session of the Singapore Grand Prix witnessed Fernando Alonso topping the timing sheets. The Aston Martin driver led the session ahead of Charles Leclerc and several other front-runners on the Singapore evening. The
Singapore Grand Prix, which had been preceded by talks surrounding the weather, saw the veteran Spaniard jump to the top of the timing sheets during the session, clocking a 1:31.116 – over a tenth and a half ahead of Leclerc.
Max Verstappen followed closely in third place, with the Red Bull driver just over two-tenths adrift of Alonso’s pace-setting time.
Lewis Hamilton also showed the pace of the Ferrari, clocking the fourth-fastest time of the session.

The McLaren duo of Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris followed in fifth and sixth, respectively. Isack Hadjar and Carlos Sainz came next, followed by Yuki Tsunoda in ninth. Esteban Ocon rounded out the top 10 with a 1:32.128.
