FIA slightly adapts Formula 1 regulations

The FIA has made a few minor changes to the Formula 1 regulations after approval, according to information published on Twitter. There are three points that have been adjusted for the current season, including an increase in staff during Grands Prix.

Due to the coronavirus, the teams have participated in Grands Prix in a slimmed down form to date. As a result, there was only essential personnel in the paddock, but with the change in the regulations it is now allowed to take ten extra people with them for hospitality purposes.

This will increase the number of staff per team from 80 to 90, up to a maximum of 100 extra people across all teams. Another change relates to the FIA itself and Pirelli, as they are now allowed to adjust the number of sets of compounds per race as they see fit.

Finally, they will not be allowed to test on tracks that are on the calendar in 2020. However, this applies to tracks added to this year's calendar after October 4, 2019.
