Ferrari is expecting another difficult race at Silverstone. Having arguably behind Mercedes pace-wise during Formula One's first ever tripleheader, the team aren't taking anything for granted having retaken the lead in both championships in Austria.
Ferrari team principal Maurizio Arrivabene believes that the Silverstone circuit will be much better suited to Mercedes rather than his team and that they weren't going into the weekend expecting to win outright on pace.
“On paper, Silverstone looks quite difficult for us,” he told Sky Italia.
“Aerodynamics are very important and it will be a difficult race for us, so we have to stay focused.
"Sometimes you speak too loudly. In F1 you can bring an interesting upgrade package but maybe it gets too warm and you stop.”

Mercedes had looked set to complete another one-two in Austria after locking out the front row in qualifying, however, nobody expected a double retirement for the reigning world champions for the first time since Barcelona 2016.
It means that Ferrari and Sebastian Vettel lead both championships going into the British Grand Prix weekend.
