Ferrari "considered" DAS but "didn't see enough profit in it"

Mattia Binotto has revealed that Ferrari will not implement a DAS system to their car as there is not enough speed gained by doing it. Mercedes came into testing with the new system last week but it is still unclear how much faster it will make them go. The Ferrari boss doesn't think it will be very effective.
“We considered it, but did not proceed with it," Binotto said. "We didn't see enough profit in it.”
Ferrari will be desperate to end Mercedes dominance this year and if they thought DAS would give them any sort of speed increase then you have to think that they would consider using it.
However, Binotto seemed set against it at the press conference. Perhaps the Italians have developed an incredibly fast car and are just waiting for the season to start to unleash their speed?
