Fans react to the F1 The movie trailer: 'laughable' 'will anyone believe' 'an F2 car'

The movie inspired by Formula 1, F1 The Movie, will be released on 27 June 2025. The official trailer was released earlier today.

Some Fans met the trailer with enthusiasm, saying that they would be there watching it. Among the excited fans, they were mostly looking forward to how good the action looked and saying that they could not wait.
Probably everyone that is an F1 fan will see this film.

Others met it with disbelief. The mixed reactions mainly come from wondering how realistic the movie will be. Sonny Hayes's age, which plays a pivotal part in the film, is a big part of the disbelief. Another part is surrounding the actual race craft.

And then there were the fans that immediately started to make jokes about the trailer. One fan joked about the strategy call in the movie giving them flashbacks to when Ferrari discuss their strategy over the radio.

Another fan poked fun at Max Verstappen. Verstappen recently used a secret name, Franz Hermann, to test at the Nürburgring. The fan uses his alias instead of his actual name when discussing his driving from the movie.
