Is it a technical innovator who has changed everything with a brilliant technique, a driver who has inspired legions of fans to follow the sport, a team boss who has provided a harvest of young drivers or perhaps a pioneer in the field of safety?"

Hamilton logically belongs to the category of drivers. He has to tolerate competition from Max Verstappen, Ayrton Senna, Michael Schumacher, Sir Jackie Stewart, Niki Lauda, Jack Brabham and Juan Manuel Fangio.
