Chase Carey has said that Formula One is likely to continue to expand its horizons and that a race in Vietnam is definitely on the agenda. Speaking at an FIA gala in Manila, the CEO and Chairman of F1 said that the destination had definitely been brought up as a possible race in the future.
"Vietnam is a very exciting country. It's a country that speaks to our imagination and we want to go there," he told L'Equipe.
"First of all we want to make sure they are suitable tracks for great racing. Realistically, there are circuits where we probably need to intervene."
Vietnam isn't the only race looking to be added to the F1 calendar. A race in Miami is currently being discussed with the city and officials from Miami and the prospects of a Miami street race being held in the near future are very high.
