The closing stages of the Canadian Grand Prix were defined by Lando Norris’s late collision with his McLaren teammate, Oscar Piastri. In the lead-up to the race, there had been repeated suggestions within the British team that a clash between the two drivers was only a matter of time.

After already stirring up excitement among fans yesterday, Max Verstappen today unveiled the special helmet he will wear for the upcoming weekend at the Red Bull Ring — a sort of second home race for him after Zandvoort.

But that’s not all: the Dutchman will also sport the same helmet design on two more occasions later in the season, complete with his signature orange flair.
