Verstappen puts pressure on Red Bull?

For the first time, the Dutchman did admit to considering his future at Red Bull Racing. The four-time world champion also explained that Christian Horner's dismissal from the Austrian squad does not make a difference in terms of his future. Read our analysis on Verstappen's words here!
To begin with, after the British team principal and CEO's dismissal, that a lot of journalists attended the Red Bull driver's press moment is quite an understatement, with a full room awaiting him. There, talking to GPblog among others, he also reflected on the atmosphere at the team's factory after Horner was let go.

Russell remains calm despite no contract yet

George Russell is yet to sign a a new contract with Mercedes. Not only that, but he is in a unique situation as well, as the British driver himself is managed by the team.
However, Russell is not too stressed about the situation, he said at length to GPblog among others. He explained he is focusing on his on-track performance, something that could guarantee him a future in the competition.

Hamilton's blunt verdict

To begin with, Lewis Hamilton was not too bothered by Horner's dismissal. He explained: "When I’m not at race weekends I don’t really paying attention to anything that's going on in Formula 1 other than what's happening within our team."
Over the previous week, the British driver together with Ferrari completed a filming day in Mugello. However, Hamilton was not too convinced yet by the updates on the car: "[It feels] the same as before. So the same as it did the weeks before."
