As always, let’s take a look at today’s two main stories—Tuesday, July 22—as we stride ever closer to the highly anticipated Belgian Grand Prix. One of the most common questions circulating on social media for years — and now a full-blown meme — is whether putting pineapple on pizza is considered an outrage by Italians.
Apparently,
Max Verstappen is asking himself the same question, competing on the simulator between races.
During one of his regular live streams, the four-time world champion asked the chat whether pineapple belongs on pizza, receiving mixed opinions.
The question playfully enraged sim racer Enzo Bonito, who was live with him at the time. His reactions was priceless.
Max Verstappen’s future at Red Bull, now on the brink of the Silly Season, remains uncertain and continues to be one of the main topics of discussion—especially following Christian Horner’s departure.
A few days ago, Dutch commentator Nelson Valkenburg also weighed in on what Verstappen’s future might hold, with rumors linking him to Mercedes still very much alive in the background.
In particular, his words about a possible announcement ahead of the upcoming Spa Grand Prix caused a stir, when he said "we've been hearing rumblings that we might have to prepare for some sort of press event in Spa."
Valkenburg clearly received many responses to his statements, as he has since responded on social media, clarifying what he said.
