Key Red Bull figure begins McLaren chapter

It was announced in 2024 that Head of Race Strategy Will Courtenay would join McLaren midway through 2026 as the team's new Sporting Director.

GPblog can confirm that Courtenay has now begun working in his new role for the Woking-based outfit.

Courtenay is not the first person to join McLaren from Red Bull Racing. Chief Designer Rob Marshall also joined the papaya team from the Austrian outfit in 2024.

Anthony Hamilton teases new announcement after new racing series launch

A couple of days ago, Lewis Hamilton’s father, Anthony Hamilton, announced the launch of his racing series on Instagram.

Now, the Briton has expressed his gratitude for the support.

In his latest post on Instagram, he wrote: "Thank you to everyone who’s followed me over the past couple of weeks, I appreciate the support more than you know."

He also teased that he would share more information soon: "I’ll be sharing a few thoughts and projects I’ve been working on over the coming weeks.

"For now, thank you for being here, and Happy New Year to you all!"

Kelly Piquet posts Verstappen showing the sea to daughter Lily

Verstappen continues to enjoy his winter break in Brazil together with his family and friends.

In the latest images shared by his partner, Kelly Piquet, the Dutchman spent time on the beach. A video also shows him introducing the sea to his daughter, Lily.
