The Formula 1 championship standings have been updated following the Belgian Grand Prix, with Kimi Antonelli taking victory around the iconic Spa-Francorchamps circuit in the beautiful Ardennes forest.
Championship leader Antonelli has extended his spot at the top of the standings after a nightmare Belgian GP for his teammate George Russell. The Briton crashed out on Lap 1 at Spa-Francorchamps after contact with Ferrari's Lewis Hamilton.
Chasing down Leclerc for much of the second half of the race after a VSC, Antonelli regained his lead on Lap 34. Nonetheless, the Monegasque scored his second podium in a row, with Max Verstappen taking the final spot on the rostrum.

In terms of the Constructors', Mercedes maintain their healthy lead despite Russell's DNF, while McLaren have scored a decent haul of points despite one of their drivers, Lando Norris, starting outside of the points, and the other, Oscar Piastri, suffering damage after contact with Leclerc.
