George Russell found some fantastic pace in Sprint Qualifying at the Canadian Grand Prix to take pole position for the Sprint race ahead of teammate Kimi Antonelli and McLaren's Lando Norris.
A changeable final session saw Lewis Hamilton split the two Mercedes after the first set of laps, but the German team showed their ominous pace to lead the way, with Russell getting the better of Antonelli after the young Italian did so in FP1.

Norris and teammate Oscar Piastri had a poor first set of laps, but they both found pace to lock out the second row of the grid with a P3 and P4 finish, while Hamilton ended the session in fifth place.
Charles Leclerc could only take P6 come the end of the Sprint Qualifying session, while Max Verstappen and isack Hadjar were in seventh and eigth, respectivly.

Arvid Lindblad and Carlos Sainz rounded out the top ten.
