Max Verstappen has secured victory at the Singapore GP, finishing ahead of Charles Leclerc and Kimi Antonelli with a dominant performance at the iconic night race under the lights of the Marina Bay Street Circuit.
The Dutchman lined up in Pole Position ahead of the 62-lap race and has converted that into his first-ever win in Singapore and important points in the F1 standings.
The Grand Prix got off to a frantic start, with Leclerc getting off the line well and putting Verstappen under all sorts of pressure into Turn 1, but the Dutchman fended off the Ferrari driver, whose teammate Lewis Hamilton followed behind in P3.
A brief VSC was out on Lap 8 following a gearbox issue for Audi's Gabriel Bortoleto, who had parked his car right on the pit lane exit. Verstappen again had to put up with Leclerc's pressure once racing was back underway, but later began to build up a handsome gap as the first stint progressed.
First to pit was Hamilton on Lap 19, with the Briton showcasing impressive pace to build a gap on Antonelli by the time the young Italian pitted a few laps later. His teammate Leclerc, however, suffered a slower stop on Lap 25, and came under pressure from a pacier Hamilton, whose calls to be allowed through were to no avail.

After the first round of stops for most of the grid, Verstappen had only built on his lead ahead of the Ferraris by the time another VSC came out - Lance Stroll had come to a stop amid clutch issues on Lap 39.
That allowed Leclerc to get onto fresh soft tyres, but Hamilton stayed out on his 20-lap old softs - despite at one stage looking like he was on a two-stop strategy. As a result, the Monegasque later made easy work of regaining P2 from the seven-time world champion on Lap 46.
Losing seconds on his old tyres, Hamilton pleaded with his team to see out the one-stop strategy, and soon came under pressure from McLaren's Norris and Antonelli with ten laps to go. By Lap 57, both had passed Hamilton, with Antonelli taking advantage of a Turn 1 scuffle between Norris and Hamilton to ultimately secure the final podium place. Hamilton then lost P5 to Piastri on the final lap.
Leclerc looked like chasing Verstappen down on fresh soft tyres after the VSC, with the Dutchman going wide at the final corner in the latter stages. However, the Red Bull driver maintained a strong advantage, crossing the line to take his first-ever Marina Bay win.
