Charles Leclerc topped Free Practice 2 at the Bahrain Grand Prix in Malaysia, in a mixed bag of a session for Ferrari.
The Monagasque led Isack Hadjar, despite his complaints about braking, and Lando Norris, whose McLaren team stayed out of competitive running in FP1.
Behind them was Max Verstappen, an impressive showing as he spent the session on medium tyres.
In fifth was Lewis Hamilton, but his session was complicated by a blocking incident with Gabriel Bortoleto.

Hamilton drifted in front of the Brazilian under braking, and will be investigated after the session, facing a potential penalty.
That was one of a number of incidents for Bortoleto, who also spent a couple of laps in close contact racing with Arvid Lindblad.
Then, with a few minutes left, his Audi experienced an almighty thud and came to a halt, provoking a yellow flag and the end of the session.
Verstappen, who topped FP1, unsually didn't get out on soft tyres to end the session, while there was another tense moment re-entering the pitlane.
Norris was following Sergio Perez back into the garages and was caught out when the Cadillac driver braked suddenly, sending the McLaren sideways.

The session also saw rain avoided despite a 90 per cent chance coming into it.
