In the Baku afternoon,
Ferrari takes the spotlight, with Lewis Hamilton topping
Charles Leclerc in a very positive FP2 for the Maranello team. The Englishman finished the session in 1:41.293, 74 thousandths ahead of the Monegasque.
Third and fourth go to the two Mercedes, with George Russell and Kimi Antonelli nearly half a second behind the two Ferraris. Fifth is Bearman with an excellent time on medium tires for Haas, while Max Verstappen sits in sixth.
Problems for the two McLarens: Lando Norris hit the wall midway through the session, forcing him to retire early, while Piastri finished outside the top 10 in twelfth.
