Several drivers from the 2026 F1 grid made an appearance in Monaco to attend the Masters 1000, also taking the chance to chat with Jannik Sinner. The prestigious Monte Carlo Masters 1000 is currently taking place, a tournament played on home soil for Italian star Jannik Sinner, but also in a city well known for being home to several
Formula 1 drivers.
Among them, Alex Albon,
Oscar Piastri,
Oliver Bearman and
Gabriel Bortoleto made the most of the enforced break in the F1 calendar - caused by the Middle East conflict that led to the cancellation of the Bahrain and Saudi Arabian Grands Prix - to drop by the Principality.
The four drivers also took the opportunity to spend some time with world number two
Sinner, sharing a few words before posing together for a group photo later posted on social media.

Sinner was officially named a “Friend of F1” ahead of the 2024 season, a role aimed at strengthening the link between Formula 1 and other global sports.
In that capacity, he helps promote the championship, makes appearances at selected races and connects with fans, while also bringing tennis and motorsport audiences closer together through his global appeal.
Sinner will take on long-time rival Alcaraz for the title later today. A win would see him return to world number one in the ATP rankings.
