F1 drivers have decided on who has been the best driver in 2019

The F1 drivers have voted on who they think has been the best driver this season, this comes after the team bosses did a similar vote last week. Lewis Hamilton tops the list ahead of Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc.

Following a positive season for McLaren, Carlos Sainz is rewarded by being in fourth, three places higher than he ranked among the team bosses.

Daniel Ricciardo of Renault came through in sixth, two places higher than he was placed by the team bosses.

Most notably, Alex Albon failed to make it into the top ten despite enjoying a strong season which saw him put on a string of impressive performances following his step up to Aston Martin Red Bull Racing from Toro Rosso.
