Drive to Survive Season 3: Crazy Silly Season and Grosjean in sea of flames

For the third year in a row, the Formula One season has been closely followed by a film crew from Netflix. The creator of Drive to Survive will present their third season on Friday, but what kind of drama can we expect in this season?

The Drive to Survive series has become a hit on YouTube. The diehard fans of F1 will notice when things are taken out of context or just a little bit exaggerated, but for many it's a great look behind the scenes of Formula 1 teams. Especially the smaller teams are finally in the spotlight.

Think for instance of Haas and team boss Günther Steiner who got a lot of attention with this series. The same can be said of McLaren and Renault, who also received a lot of attention in the previous two seasons. The successes, but also the disappointing performances were followed there.

We can expect the same from 2020. Think of the internal struggles at Haas, the dumping of both drivers at the end of the season and of course the crash of Romain Grosjean. At Williams, the leak finally seems to be out, but Mr Saturday(George Russell) is also likely to get attention with his missed opportunities.
