De Vries: 'Will never know if Verstappen is better than Hamilton'

Whereas Hamilton has been driving a dominant Mercedes car for years, Verstappen has to make do with Red Bull Racing, where he seems to have less material. Many fans believe Verstappen would beat Hamilton, whilst others think it's the other way around.

Speaking to Formulapassion.it, Nyck de Vries believes this discussion will never go away. ''In motorsport, but especially in Formula 1, the car you have is a determining factor. I am sure that what Hamilton can do, Verstappen could do as well. However, Hamilton is in that dominant position and proves it time and time again. Who is better? Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo? We will never be able to answer this kind of question," the Formula E driver said.
