Daniil Kvyat and Antonio Giovinazzi are set to share the driving duties at Pirelli’s first in-season F1 tyre development test.
The pair will be driving a Ferrari
Formula 1 car at the Fiorano circuit later this week.
It will be Kvyat’s first Ferrari drive after the Ferrari team picked him up when Toro Rosso let the Russian leave.
Giovinazzi has two Grands Prix under his belt, driving the Sauber in last seasons Australian and Chinese Grand Prix. He replaced injured Pascal Wehrlein.
Pirelli is permitted 25 days of running per season, split evenly amongst all 10 teams.
McLaren and Haas will be the next two teams in line to test the tyres.
For the test later this week, the track will be under artificially wet conditions, and both drivers will drive with wet tyres.
