Owning a Formula 1 car, what fan wouldn't want that? The Toro Rosso of Daniil Kvyat has been sold by Racecarsdirect for over 447 thousand euros. It is the cheapest modern F1 car you can own. One disadvantage: the car does not have an engine.

F1 car sold for 'cheap' price

Kvyat's car comes complete with original power steering, hydraulics and the intact gearbox, radiators and exhaust system. The buyer has also received spare parts for the car's front and rear wings.
The Toro Rosso does look very bare, as the sponsors' logos have been removed. The power unit is not included either, so if the new owner wants to drive the F1 car, he will have to install his own engine. The original F1 engines are impossible to keep running without a whole team of engineers.
Kvyat piloted the car in question in the 2019 season. His best result in the Toro Rosso was a third place at the German Grand Prix. Meanwhile, the Russian has not driven in F1 for two years. After 2019, he was replaced at AlphaTauri by Yuki Tsunoda.
