I am a passionate and knowledgeable Formula 1 fan who has watched the sport since age five, watching every single race. Having karted competitively throughout my teens, I understand what it takes to be a racing driver, and every aspect of motorsports fascinates me. I am now studying sports journalism at the University of Gloucestershire with the hopes of one day landing a dream role in motorsport. As well as English, I speak Spanish fluently after living there for some time when I was younger.
Ferrari would've expected a better reaction from their drivers after the Italian team brought numerous updates to their car for the Spanish Grand Prix. Unfortunately for the Tifosi, Carlos Sainz complained of no power early on in the session. Soon after, Leclerc complained that his upgraded SF-24 was 'horrendous'.
Ferrari has brought numerous upgrades to the Spanish Grand Prix. Despite this, both drivers struggled in FP1. After a snap in sector three, Charles Leclerc complained about his SF-24 on the team radio. He told his team that his car felt 'horrendous' in the session, and also said that there was 'something strange' with the clutch as he came into the pits later on.
Ferrari will be hoping that their Spanish Grand Prix weekend gets better after a torrid, pointless race in Montreal.
