British media waxes lyrical about Kimi Antonelli’s performance at the Miami Grand Prix, where he secured his third consecutive victory. He now holds a considerable lead over George Russell in the drivers' standings.

The Guardian

The Guardian praised the young Italian for withstanding pressure from defending world champion Lando Norris and driving consistently to win in Miami.
They write: "The margins were fine but ultimately it was a champion’s composure that won the day for Kimi Antonelli at the Miami Grand Prix. The teenager cannot legally buy a drink in the US yet but by the end of what was a gripping run to the flag the Italian had most assuredly earned a stiffener."

The British newspaper highlights Russell’s championship setback after Antonelli’s third consecutive Grand Prix victory, which extended his lead in the drivers’ standings.
"Russell finished fourth and is now 20 points back from the ingenue to whom he was meant to offer mentorship. Ha, if we are naive enough to think it ever works that generous-spirited way in Formula One. This Hard Rock Stadium track is not one Russell likes, so perhaps this should be filed as a minor setback. Perhaps, though, it is a harbinger of things to come.
"For now Antonelli is in good company. The last Italian to win a trio of consecutive races was Alberto Ascari in 1952, and he was the legend who helped set ablaze that country's post-War love of motorsport."

The Times

The Times highlighted Norris' disappointment alongside Antonelli's stunning drive, with the Briton believing victory was within reach today.

"The teenager won a chaotic Miami Grand Prix with five different race leaders. It was action-packed from the first lap to the very final corner of the last, where George Russell stole fourth from Charles Leclerc to salvage some valuable championship points. The race was won from the pitwall as much as Antonelli’s mature drive, with Mercedes pitting him before McLaren and undercutting Lando Norris."
