The British media saw two main talking points after the Sao Paulo GP: Lando Norris taking control of the drivers’ standings and Max Verstappen’s astonishing comeback from the pit lane.
"Norris’s victory was without doubt that of a champion in waiting."

The Daily Mail

Verstappen’s God-like drive received heavy praise, as did Norris’s great weekend at the Interlagos circuit, where he claimed all 33 points available.
They write: "Norris beat his buddy and went a long way to punctuating an era that is going down kicking and screaming, and reminding us of its abiding brilliance."
"We use his (Verstappen's) wonders for now only to benchmark Norris's achievements in Sao Paulo. Under the biggest pressure of his career, the Briton took pole for the sprint, won the sprint, took pole for the Sau Paulo Grand Prix itself, and was faultless in winning it."

The Guardian

The Guardian also recognised two perfect drives from both men at the Brazil Grand Prix.
"After another masterclass in Brazil he (Verstappen) defied the odds in taking third from a 19th-place start in the pit lane. It was an extraordinary drive, even as Lando Norris delivered a perfect weekend with a win at Interlagos and in so doing staked a claim to having one hand on the title.

They continued: "Norris’s victory was without doubt that of a champion in waiting as he managed a tense and high‑pressure victory from pole position to extend his world championship lead over his McLaren teammate, Oscar Piastri, who finished fifth."

BBC Sport

The British public broadcaster believes Norris now has a firm grip on the title fight, while also acknowledging Verstappen’s impressive comeback.
"Norris' second consecutive victory - which takes him nearly a clear win ahead of Piastri with three grands prix remaining - was overshadowed by a remarkable recovery drive by Max Verstappen.
"Verstappen, though, is now 49 points behind Norris and probably out of title contention."
