Force India technical boss Andy Green believes that the 2019 rule changes will have a negative impact.
The 2019 rule changes have been brought in to try and improve the amount of overtaking. However, some figures in Formula 1 are against the new rules. Andy Green has opened up on how his team have struggled to adapt to the new rules.
"The whole thing throws us back about two years in development," he told Germany's Auto Motor und Sport.
"I don't know if we can even make it back to what we had before with these regulations."
"The car looked really bad when we first put it in the wind tunnel."

"The performance loss was huge. We are talking about several seconds in lap time."
"The learning curve is very steep for everyone," he said. "I expect a long fight.
"Once the new season gets going, engineers will definitely be keen to see what solutions the competition comes up with."
Hopefully, the new rules will lead to more exciting races with cars being more able to pass each other.
