Alfa Romeo C43: how the team's car slowly changed

Alfa Romeo's presentation on Tuesday morning revealed what the car for next season will look like from the outside. Especially in terms of colour scheme, the new version stands out. What did the last five years of development look like?

The bolides of past years had at least one thing in common. Whereas the underside of the car had a black colour, Alfa Romeo chose to combine white and red on the rest of the car. However, that will be different in 2023.

Alfa Romeo cleverly decided to save weight by opting for black and red. The black colour does not require the team to paint the car, allowing Guanyu Zhou and Valtteri Bottas to hit the circuits with less weight.

Moreover, in recent years Orlen's sponsor name was large on the car and this is not the case in the new season. With Stake, it found a new title partner, with which the car still features accents of the white colour.
