Alex Albon: “I do tease George Russell, I am not going to lie”

This year's crop of new talent have really impressed in Formula 1. Many have scored many points in their debut season and Alex Albon was even promoted from Toro Rosso to Aston Martin Red Bull Racing. However, it has been harder for some drivers. George Russell is yet to score a championship point and spends much of his time at the back of the grid.

This must be frustrating for the Williams driver as in the junior formula's Russell was equally as fast as the drivers who are now racing in better teams than him.

“I do tease George, I am not going to lie,” said Albon to PA. “We banter about it all the time!

Russell will be hoping that either Williams dramatically improves or that a seat at a top team opens up within the next few seasons. He is an incredibly fast driver and will impress when given the chance.
