Renault boss Cyril Abiteboul is confident that his team will be strong next Sunday in the Singapore Grand Prix...
The French side have had an underwhelming last couple of races in Belgium and Italy due to the power needed to compete near the top on those tracks.
Abiteboul is confident that the street circuit in Asia will offer Renault a chance to get back on track with new upgrades available.
"We look forward to Singapore, a circuit that we believe fits well with our package, you can never say what the competition is going to do, but we know that we ourselves have some updates that should improve our performance in the upcoming races," the Renault boss told F1Today.net.
"This is also a circuit where our drivers like and perform well, so we have confidence in their ability to get the job done."

Renault are locked into a thrilling midfield battle with Haas, but Abiteboul admits that the team are also looking towards next season's car.
"We can not take our eyes off the next year's project, no matter how important the current season is also. We are developing the RS19 in parallel with racing in 2018, and we will consult our sources in such a way that we will not miss anything, which we keep a close eye on in the coming races, but we can do that with our good structure and sources."
