Robert Kubica will once again take over from Kimi Raikkonen during the Italian Grand Prix. That is according to a report by the Polish TVP Sport. Raikkonen reportedly still won't have a negative test, so the Pole will also be in action at Monza.

Kubica gets another chance

On Friday, Raikkonen drove the first and second free practice sessions at Zandvoort, but on Saturday the news came out that the Finn had tested positive for the coronavirus. Alfa Romeo acted quickly with their reserve driver Kubica, who performed well. He drove a decent qualifying and also kept his car on the track during the tough race, despite limited running.

According to the Polish media, Raikkonen has yet to test negative and is unlikely to be able to start at the Italian GP on Friday. Kubica will therefore travel to Italy, where he will most likely start. 15 years ago, Kubica scored his first podium at Monza.
