Just like before the Styrian Grand Prix, rain is predicted for the Austrian Grand Prix. While the first race in Spielberg was dry it is now a question of whether the second race on the Red Bull Ring will also be dry.

Of course the weather forecasts are not always correct. They are only predictions as was also proved during the Steiermark Grand Prix. Rain was predicted for the whole weekend and until the day of the race the rain clouds were hanging around the circuit. Like so often in Formula 1, the rain didn't fall during the sessions.

Will it rain now in Austria?

Ahead of the Austrian Grand Prix, the predictions from Weather.com similar to those of last weekend. Friday and Sunday will be a lot colder than last week, with a maximum temperature of 21 degrees. On Friday and Saturday, the chance of rain is less than twenty percent and on Saturday the temperature even rises to 26 degrees.

On Sunday, however, is where the worst weather is now predicted. On Sunday, it will reportedly be a maximum of 21 degrees, and there is an 87 percent chance of rain. It's light rain according to Weather.com, but that should be enough for intermediates. Whether the rain actually falls we won't see until Sunday during the race.
