Yuki Tsunoda is ready to take on his new role at Red Bull Racing during the 2026 season.
After being promoted to Red Bull Racing ahead of the 2025 Japanese Grand Prix, Tsunoda lost his full-time seat for the 2026 campaign.
From the upcoming season, Isack Hadjar will become Max Verstappen's teammate, while the Japanese driver will be the team's reserve driver.
Tsunoda has now shared a new post on social media, looking ahead to his next challenge. He vows to take advantage of his new role. In the caption, the driver wrote: "New year and a new challenge. Looking forward to the opportunity to grow in a new role."

Tsunoda hints at swift F1 return after losing Red Bull seat

Heading into the 2026 season, two drivers are returning to the F1 grid after spending a year on the sidelines: Sergio Perez and Valtteri Bottas.
Talking to DAZN Japan, Tsunoda did mention the possibility of a brief return as well. "There’s a chance that my next year won’t be limited to simulator and reserve driver work. I’ve heard about a few possible scenarios," he revealed.
