Sergio Perez gave it all during his time at Red Bull Racing, the Mexican said while sharing an emotional example. "I spent the whole week on the simulator and the team was wondering: 'What is this madman doing here?'"

Red Bull Racing in 2021, and stayed with the Austrian outfit as Max Verstappen's teammate until 2024, when he was replaced by Liam Lawson.
The Mexican driver explained that during his time with the team, he gave his absolute all the 2023 campaign.
He said on the Cracks Podcast: "Speaking from outside is easy. When I was in Qatar fighting for second place with Hamilton, my son Emilio was in the hospital with pneumonia. I would have been the first Red Bull driver to complete a first-second double in the championship.
"It was very important. I spoke to the doctor, I asked him: 'How serious is it? Isn't he in danger of dying?' and then I spent the whole week on the simulator and the team was wondering: 'What is this madman doing here?'
