Lewis Hamilton is to team up with Penni Thow, a renowned sports and media talent manager best known as the founder of the Copper company. This has been announced by Autosport.com on Monday afternoon.
The partnership with Thow mainly involves developing Hamilton's Project 44 business. With the launch of The Hamilton Commission, Hamilton aims to ensure more black people are involved in British motorsport. In addition, he founded the X44 team, which competes in the Extreme E Championship for all-electric off-road racing.
A source let the medium know: "Lewis is committed to and focused on his racing career for a number of years ahead but through this partnership, is able to build and grow his business for the longer term." Thow is also working with Scooter Braun, who manages the likes of Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato and J Balvin.

Battle for world championship

Seven-time world champion Hamilton, meanwhile, is not doing badly on the track. After four races he can look back on three victories and a second place in Imola. His pursuer Max Verstappen won exclusively in Italy and is currently 14 points behind the Englishman.
