Haas F1 launch car with new title sponsorship with Uralkali

On Thursday morning, Haas F1 team launched their 2021 F1 challenger which Mick Schumacher and Nikita Mazepin will drive in the upcoming season. At the same time, the American team revealed a new title sponsor and they will therefore now be known as Uralkali Haas F1 team.

Uralkali, one of the world’s largest potash fertilizer producers and exporters, have signed a multi-year deal with the Formula 1 team. The Russian company have made themselves known with the livery featuring the Russian flag colours.

A new chapter

Haas will start their sixth season in Formula 1 later this month. They bring an all-rookie line-up to the grid. The Chairman of the team, Gene Haas, is excited to start a new chapter for the team this year, but also has a keen eye on the new regulations coming in 2022.

“I’m very pleased to welcome Uralkali to Formula 1 as title partner to Haas F1 Team,” Haas said in the press release. “We look forward to representing their brand throughout the season."

"It’s an exciting time for the team with Uralkali coming onboard and having Nikita Mazepin and Mick Schumacher driving for us. It’s definitely a case of all change but I’m hoping that we get back to being in the mix for scoring some points at these races. It’s been a tough couple of seasons, but we’ve also got our eye on the bigger picture, in particular 2022 and the implementation of the new regulations.”
