Lance Stroll dreams of winning a world title in Formula 1. In the coming years, he will have to deal with drivers like Max Verstappen, Charles Leclerc and George Russell. Stroll knows his chances depend on the car he will be driving.
"It feels great to finally have a car that allows me to be competitive," says Stroll as he looks back on his first Grand Prix this year. After six weekends, he takes fifth place in the battle for the 2020 World Championship.
Talking to the official channels of Formula 1, the young Canadian announces that the car is a "pleasure" to drive. "The season is going very well so far. This feels like my first chance to really show my talent". The Racing Point driver emphasises that drivers in the pinnacle of motorsport are very dependent on the car they're in.
Stroll has now started his fourth season in Formula 1. The talented driver is still only 21 years old, so he still has a whole future ahead of him. "You keep learning in this sport, I'm always trying to improve. Of course, I have a lot more experience now than when I started and I notice that I am much further ahead. On the other hand, I'm always looking for something better. Becoming world champion remains my big dream", he concludes.
