McLaren "have a clear plan" to build on 2019 success

McLaren had a strong 2019 season, finishing 'best of the rest' behind only the top three teams. Both drivers, Lando Norris and Carlos Sainz performed well in their debut seasons at the team and team boss Andreas Seidl is looking forward to what 2020 will bring.

"Securing P4 in the constructors' championship was a great achievement for all of us because it reflected how we delivered as a team," Seidl said to PitPass. "More importantly, how we progressed throughout the year and ensured we had a positive momentum within the team."

If McLaren are to continue their success and break into the top three then they need to make some changes.

"We still have a long way to go and plenty of points on our "to do" list," Seidl admits. "But we have a clear plan and targets that we are continually working against.

McLaren have shown great success over the past year and will be hoping that they can push on eve further in 2020.
