Alex Albon performed well in his debut season in Formula 1. Having been promoted from Toro Rosso to Red Bull Racing it is clear to see that he is a fast racer but there are some things he wants to change ahead of the 2020 season.
“What I learned is that I don't have to listen to everyone too much. I just have to do my own thing, that goes for both Red Bull and Toro Rosso,” Albon said to GPToday.net.
"F1 is of course a team sport, but at the same time it is also very individual when you look at where to tackle races and qualifications, how to put yourself first and what you can do better.
“That was the most important lesson I learned this year. In addition, it has also been a wise lesson to take it easy in the free practice sessions, without going too fast.”
Albon has picked up some tips and tricks which will help him in 2020 as he looks to continue developing as a driver.
