Catching Renault would be "the cherry on the cake" for Toro Rosso

The midfield battle will be tense at the final Grand Prix of 2019. Toro Rosso and Renault will battle it out for fifth in the constructor's championship. Toro Rosso have already had their best season to date, with two podiums to their name but Pierre Gasly has said that finishing above Renault would really mean a lot. 

"Everybody is so excited about what happened in Brazil but I think it's important that we keep it all together and try to execute everything perfectly and let's see what happens," Gasly said to Formula1.com. 

"If we get them, that will be amazing but to outscore Renault by eight points... I'm not sure it's happened many times this year. It's not going to be an easy task so we will just try and focus on our work and we know that if we do the right things we will probably be in a good position to score points.

"If we manage to get them it will be the cherry on the cake at the end of the year."

It is going to be a tight battle and the teams will need all the points they can get if they are going to finish on top.
