Nicholas Latifi says that he is excited to get going with Williams F1 team and work with George Russell next year, as he was announced as a driver for the 2020 season, replacing the outgoing Robert Kubica.
Latifi has won four races in Formula 2 this season, missing out on the title but sitting second ahead of the final race weekend in Abu Dhabi.
The Canadian said: "It's a dream come true for me, something I've been working towards for almost half my life.
"The thing that made me want to drive for Williams in Formula 1 is, obviously, it's one of the greatest teams in history. It's had a history of developing young drivers.
"I'm definitely looking forward to teaming up with George next year, racing against him and being his teammate. We're two very young, hungry, motivated drivers and I think that's going to be great to push each other to improve ourselves but also to bring the team forward, back to a place we know it deserves to be."
