The CEO of Spa-Francorchamps Circuit, Nathalie Maillet, says that there will be changes made to the run of area at Raidillon after the tragic death of F2 driver Anthoine Hubert following his huge crash at the corner.
Hubert hit the wall trying to avoid Giuliano Alesi's spinning Trident and was collected by Juan Manuel Correa, who is still in a stable condition in hospital.
Maillet told Belga news agency that a gravel trap would be put in place to slow cars down if they were to run off track at Raidillon.
She said: "The track at Raidillon will not be affected, but we will put gravel back again.
"Discussions are currently underway about where the gravel should be and how deep it should be."

She also added that F1 will continue to race at the circuit despite the crash.
"After this accident, Spa Francorchamps is not being questioned as a location for Formula 1. What happened was a race.
"Of course it affects us all, so we must continue to work on the development of the circuit."
