Max Verstappen speaks about early rivalry with Charles Leclerc

Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc have known each other for a number of years now, going all the way back to when the pair used to compete in karting against each other.

Outside the car the pair have a mutual respect for each other in how well they are doing, being from the same generation.

Verstappen currently sits 3rd in the driving rankings, while Leclerc is 5th and the competition is there for the two having known each other for such a long time.

The pair share the same dream and similar ambitions so it comes as no surprise that their career have overlapped and they’re now competing against each other at the top of the gird.

Verstappen has really impressed for Red Bull this season only being behind Mercedes pair of Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas, which just highlights how good a job he’s done prior to the summer break.
