Formula 1 tyre supplier Pirelli has revealed each drivers tyre availability for the
German Grand Prix. Each driver will use either the C2 (Hard), C3 (medium) or C4 (soft) during the weekend at the Hockenheimring.
Ferrari has opted for the slightly more aggressive tyre choice as they will bring nine sets of softs compared to
Mercedes decision to bring eight soft sets of compounds for each driver.
Valtteri Bottas will have one extra set of medium compounds than
Lewis Hamilton for the
German Grand Prix weekend.
Charles Leclerc will take one less medium set compared to teammate
Sebastian Vettel.
In a similar style to their choices for the
British Grand Prix weekend, each Renault driver will have 10 sets of the softest tyre option.
Daniel Ricciardo will take just one set of medium tyres while Nico Hulkenberg will take two.
The action continued at
Silverstone today with Pirelli conducting a 2020 Formula 1 tyre test.
Pierre Gasly completed 102 laps and
George Russell completed 98 laps in his Williams.
