Alonso tweets to laugh at McLaren split rumours

Fernando Alonso has tweeted to show what he thinks of rumours his time with McLaren had come to an end.

Alonso joined the F1 team in 2015 but retired at the end of last season after four underwhelming years.

However, the partnership with McLaren continued and they entered the Indy 500 this year, and it ended in disaster, with the Spaniard failing to qualify.

This ignited rumours that Alonso wasn't happy with McLaren, leading to Friday's rumours of the split, but Alonso has laughed it off on Twitter.
