Romain Grosjean has blamed Sebastian Vettel for the incident he had with Lando Norris during qualifying yesterday. Grosjean was awarded a three-place grid penalty and also received one point on his racing license. However, the Frenchman has blamed Vettel for the incident claiming that he had to slow down due to being overtaken by the Ferrari.

"I think he did what he could," says Norris about Grosjean. "But in the end, he blocked me, and if I could not do a second lap for some reason, I would never have made it to Q2."

"You really s*** yourself when you drive so slowly and a fast pilot comes rushing," said Grosjean to formel1.de.

"I think Vettel caused the chaos here, he disregarded the unwritten rule not to overtake someone in the last corner."

"I was not told that he is on the fast lap. Actually, we manage the traffic well, but today something went wrong."

The incident has been dealt with and attention has now turned to the race with is due to get underway this afternoon.
